Car Wash!

Ever take a kid to the car wash for the first time? 

Well... I took Smidgean for the first time and he loved it! 

Eclipse 2017

What is that crazy duck up to? I told him we needed to have special glasses for the eclipse, and he went and made himself glasses out of an eclipse gum wrapper! What a silly duck! 

After a small argument that using those glasses will really not work, he finally listened and watched the eclipse in a home made eclipse viewer! Hope you all got to enjoy the eclipse too! 

Balloon Festival!

Quackers' dream of floating in the skies with his own hot air balloon with a real one came true! 

Just don't forget to come back down, Quackers!

Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! Quackers was strutting his stuff as a Sneech! 

In class we tried to read The Cat in the Hat, but everyone was giggling at Quackers too much to listen! 

Duck Day 2017

Quacker's family participated in Duck Day in CT this year! There is a huge celebration where everyone comes down to celebrate everything that is duck related! There are prizes for the best dressed duck and for who ever wins the scavenger hunt! At the end of the day there are thousands of ducks that participate in a river race! These ducks are dumped into the river and who which ever duck hits the end line first, wins!

Mystic Aquarium

Quackers was able to visit Mystic Aquarium and he had a blast! He saw a beluga whale, penguins, seals and was able to ride Nemo, the Submarine!

Montreal, Canada

Quackers left the country! 

He decided to check out Montreal, Canada and see the sights!

 He was able to see quite a few historical churches, a botanical garden and picked up a pretty pin along the way!

Circus!

Hi Everyone! Quackers and I wanted to apologize for the delay in the pictures lately! We have been very busy in our indoor and outdoor classrooms! We will be posting pictures soon of all of our adventures in the past few months!

Here is a picture of Quackers at the last 'The Greatest Show on Earth!' presented by Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey in Hartford, CT! The show was amazing (no ducks though!). There were acrobats, clowns, heavy weight champions and even mermaids! Stay tuned for more adventures!

Alaska

When Quackers was invited up to go to Alaska, I was surprised that he wanted to go since there is usually snow up there! But he persisted so I let him visit my friend up at Camp Denaili! He said he had a good time, but as soon as he got home he buried himself in blankets.

Hello From Russia!

Thank you to a wonderful friend who visited the Grand Palace in Peterhof, St. Petersburg in Russia! 

Apparently Quackers enjoyed his trip, he things he's one of the beautiful statues! 

Greece

England!

Did you know that an English policeman is called a Bobby? Well, this Bobby brought back English tea for our friend, (and to keep an eye on him!) but I had to drink it before Quackers did, because who knows what will happen!

Quackers was able to go to London for a short time! We have a friend that loves to visit! And this time Quackers made a friend! Meet William Quackshere! His note says "To quack or not to quack..."

Did you know ducks like to watch the Kentucky Derby too? I caught Quackers watching it!

Q: "May the fourth be with you!" 

Me: "Whatever duck, go to bed!" 

Quackers and I were arguing right after he got back from one of his trips... what a silly duck!

I also discovered GIANT box of Star Wars games that I was going to bring to camp... but look who got into it first! What a crazy duck!

Oh the pesky duck of mine! He made BROWN E's for the students... get it? BROWNIES. 

The kids did not think that was funny and blamed Quackers for eating them instead.
